Earlier this year we introduced The AstridTravel Club, and earlier this month, we hosted our first ATC trip to Marrakesh, Morocco!
The AstridTravel Club trip to Marrakesh was full of unique experiences that opened our eyes and hearts to a culture that is overflowing with life and soul. We drank mint tea and listened to the sounds of exotic song birds every morning from the comfort of our private, luxury riad. We visited the home of a Berber family and learned how they've managed to integrate thousands of years of tradition with modern life. We dined in both fabulous restaurants and local hideouts and treated ourselves to food that was always fresh and flavorful. We got lost in the maze of souks, hiked to a waterfall in the Atlas Mountains, and floated over the semi-arid desert surrounding Marrakesh in a hot air balloon. We were greeted with warm smiles everywhere we went and were shown what true Moroccan hospitality looks like. This trip was entirely unforgettable, and it is one we are thrilled to offer again and again.
We will be returning to Marrakesh in 2020!
